Tenee Attoh is a professional portrait photographer who has developed a successful career “shooting” people for charities and local communities. In her view, she says “a good photo is when you can capture that very essence of what’s going on withing the frame and relay in in a way that makes the viewer want to watch.” As with many professionals, she kept separate those projects she undertook for personal satisfaction and those that she did on assignment. Tenee has spent a few years testing with models and over the last two years is trying to focus on putting together full fashion themes. Another one of her challenges is photojournalism, for the next couple of months she expects to highlight some of this work.
Tenee holds a BA Hons in Film and Video from the ‘University of the Arts London’, (formally London College of Printing). Over the years she has transformed the moving image to the still image. She continues to produce and develop short films on social issues in inner London.
The combination of her Dutch/British/Ghanian background, has enabled her to relate to a diverse society. Tenee lives in Crystal Palace, London with her children. She communicates directly with all her clients.
