I was blessed with a beautiful light and a great cloud formation. One of the best photography days I’ve had in a long time.
Taken on October 4th 2008 in Batroun Lebanon
Taken with Canon 40D, Tokina 12-24mm @ 12mm f/16 ISO 100 and a polarizer. Manual focus, exposure and white balance.
This is a combination of 3 shots exposed respectively for the sky, sea and rocks and merged manually in Photoshop CS3 to mimic the effect of a ND Grad filter. The purpose of this method is *not* to give to the picture an “unatural” HDR look but just to save on the cost of ND Grad filters.
