I’ve been experimenting with a home-made pinhole camera recently.
This image was made in a local cathedral on a rainy day. I was wandering around the cathedral and, down the cloister, a man paused to look at one of the stations of the cross there. On impulse, I put the pinhole camera on the tripod and opened the shutter. And then I started hoping desperately that it actually had worked … it did.
